Learning across working life: educative experiences and individuals’ participation

Understanding what constitutes learning across working life and how negotiating worklife transitions can be best supported has never been more important for age adults, their workplaces communities. The kinds frequencies of changes in occupational workplace requirements have consequences personal goals, viability communities’ economic social wellbeing. Hence, both individual societal purposes we need to elaborate the goals processes that educative experiences. Drawing on a three-phase investigation adults’ qualities experiences directly or indirectly guiding, supporting extending individuals’ development are elaborated. This includes pathways life: curriculums. paper reports discusses data from: (i) narratives follow-up interviews, (ii) 18-month monitoring work cohort workers. It furthers case viewing lifelong education as being distinct sperate phenomena, interdependence among contributions educational those provided by communities, leading explanatory concepts curriculum illuminate life.
